Two modes, one class list

Same questions, same students, same login. You choose how serious the room needs to be.

Quiz mode

Play it live

Put the question on the projector, students answer on their phones. Fast answers score more, streaks stack, and the scoreboard updates after every question.

  • Points, streaks and a live scoreboard
  • Works on any phone, no app
  • Self-paced homework mode too

Lock it down

Turn on the checks you want: camera, microphone, screen sharing, full screen, copy-paste blocking. Leaving full screen or switching tabs is counted, you can watch the room live, and written answers wait for you to mark.

  • Checks the student agrees to before the paper opens
  • Warnings counted, automatic hand-in after too many
  • Watch any student’s camera and screen, live only
  • Auto-marking, hidden-name marking for written answers

Up and running in ten minutes

If you can write a question in a document, you can run a session here.

1

Write the questions

Multiple choice, short answer and long-form. Set marks and a time limit, or import from a document you already have.

2

Share the code

Students type six characters and they’re in. You manage their profiles, so every result belongs to a real name in your class.

3

Press start

Quiz mode runs on the projector; exam mode locks each screen. Either way, results land in your dashboard the moment it ends.

The owl keeps watch, so you don’t have to

During an exam, anything worth a look is flagged with the time. It’s a record you read, not a verdict handed to you. From your seat you can give five more minutes, let a student back in, hand a paper in, or let them retake.

Quick answers

More in the full FAQ and the help center.

Can students use phones?

For quizzes, yes, that’s the point. For proctored exams they need a laptop or desktop with a webcam, because the exam locks until camera, mic and screen share are on.

Does exam mode stop cheating?

It makes the session visible. Every tab switch and camera-off moment is logged with the time, and you can act on it live. Students who know the room is logged behave very differently.

What if the internet drops mid-exam?

Answers save as students type. If a laptop dies they sign back in and everything is there; if they lose their place you send a link that puts them straight back into their own paper.

Who grades the long answers?

You do, with names hidden by default. The AI can suggest a mark that you accept or change. Multiple choice and short answers are marked as they come in.

Is there anything to install?

No. Teachers sign in on the web; students open a link and type a code.

Your class is one code away

Write five questions, share the code, and watch the room fill up. The exam works exactly the same way, with the checks turned on.
